The Burlap Bag is a small business based out of Austin, Texas. We've worked hard to create the perfect scented soy candle. Since 2012, we have been hand pouring candles and have a passion for great scents with cute candle names that make everyone laugh.
Our aim is to make your home or office smell cozy and inviting. So we're always working on new candle scents for you to explore and find favorite new smells. With so many candles in the world, we hope you'll agree that our scented soy candles stand above the rest.
Limited Edition Candle Collections
At the beginning of each month we launch a new candle collection. Each collection has it's own theme for the scents and candle names. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified of upcoming collections that will make your home smell so good.
Handmade Soy Candles
Our team does every step of the candle making process by hand, from putting wicks in the candles to designing the labels. The candles are made in small batches to ensure quality.
Burn Time
Our 9oz amber glass jars have a wax weight of 7.2oz and a burn time of 50+ hours. Our 16oz amber glass jars have a wax weight of 13oz and a burn time of 60+ hours. Their shelf life is 2+ years.
Pure Soy Wax
Our soy wax is made of pure 100% natural soybeans. It's made in the US, biodegradable, and free of pesticides/herbicides.
Amazing Scents
The fragrances are also made here in the US and are phthalate free. The wick is lead free.
Eco Friendly
Our gift boxes and shipping boxes are recyclable. We use recycled paper for package padding.
Family Owned Small Business
The Burlap Bag is run by Lauren Lowe in Austin, Texas. Greta and Fletcher are her kids that help by running around and laughing. We started making candles in 2012 and have grown to offer soy candles to people everywhere. Stay smelly, y'all!
